I grew up in Brazil, Indiana, where I graduated from Northview High School. My parents, married for forty-nine years, still live in Brazil. I attended Indiana State University and Indiana Wesleyan University, receiving a Bachelor’s in Business Management. I also earned my Masters in Engineering from Purdue University.
I am an engineer and global supply chain professional by trade, currently working for a national defense contractor, based in Bedford. My two decades of government contract experience in the Aerospace and Naval Marine industry have given me the opportunity to work with both Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. My roots in Indiana are deep, but my work experience has given me a global understanding of how Indiana is not only the crossroads of America but can truly supply the world economy with vehicles, crops, technologies and innovations that can only be found in this great state. I know that our vast resources, our greatest and first being our people, can truly contribute to the global economy in ways that provide new opportunities and better lives to Hoosiers. I have experienced these opportunities myself but they are far too rare or often out of reach for the people of Indiana.
As the father of three beautiful children I know how important our local communities are in helping to build our future. I live in Seymour and have lived in Bloomington, Martinsville, Greenwood, and Bargersville, and know the great potential for growth in the communities of the 69th District well. I approach the issues facing Americans, and more specifically, Hoosiers, through the lens of a Gen X voter with a background in science. That’s a fancy way of saying I don’t speak with a lot of fluff or hyperbole. Join me in standing not on the fringes of yelling pundits, but in the middle ground where good people have been left out of the conversation. I look forward to getting to know more people in our great state and finding new ways to advocate for us all.
